Directions from Rt 29:
The office is located off of Hydraulic Road across from Albemarle High School. From Route 29, turn onto Hydraulic Road (a right turn if you are heading south on 29 into Charlottesville, a left if you are heading north). As you are passing the high school, keep an eye out for Whitewood Road on your right. Turn right on Whitewood, then take your second left onto Sachem Place, which takes you into "Sachem Village". This is a brick office complex with wood shingled roofs. After turning onto Sachem Place, turn right and drive up to 1414 Sachem Place. Drive around to the "back" of the building and look for door signage indicating "Whitewood Therapy Center: Suite 1". We have handicapped parking and the office is handicapped accessible.
Other appointment details
Upon entering the suite, have a seat in the waiting room. We have no receptionist to greet you. Waiting for you will be a clipboard with a new patient "Initial Intake" form for you to fill out, so give yourself 5-10 minutes to do so. If you have UVA insurance, give yourself an additional five minutes to fill out insurance information. Also, if you have an extensive list of medications or supplements, you may want to bring a copy to attach. Bob Clickner will come get you when it is time for your appointment. Please wear comfortable clothing. We accept cash, checks, and credit card payment. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
