Bob Clickner has spent years seeking out good health information to pass along to his patients. While he may not go along with everything that some of the sites below support, he has found a great deal of helpful information on possible causes and cures for certain health conditions. - Weston Price was a dentist in the early 20th century who noticed how much worse his younger patients' teeth were than those of the previous generation. Curious as to why, he travelled the world researching diet and its affects on teeth (and health in general). He discovered that the more traditional the diet, the less cavities and dental crowding, and the more robust the health. The more modern the diet (that is, dominated by processed foods), the more health problems a person is likely to face. The Weston A. Price Foundation researches the affects of modern diets. They have some fascinating information, as well as practical suggestions on how to shop and cook.

- Diane Schwarzbein, MD is a leading endocrinologist who has written extensively on the subject of diet and its affects on health. A number of years ago, she discovered in treating diabetics that the typically recommended diet for diabetics actually made them sicker, and developed theories as to why. When she changed her patients' diets, their diabetes improved significantly. Her views on food are different in some ways from those of the Weston A. Price Foundation, but overlap. Dr. Schwarzbein's diet recommendations are designed to cure or improve a number of health conditions. She includes a helpful step-by-step approach for changing one's health.
- drbrownstein.com
- David Brownstein, MD has written and lectured extensively on the topic of holistic medicine. This site is an introduction to his thinking and approach, as well as a online store to purchase books and DVDs he has created. You can also listen to a provocative lecture entitled, "Holistic Medicine for the 21st Century" right on the site, in which he "gives an overview of holistic medicine and describes why these safe and effective natural therapies will be the medicine of the future." Bob Clickner bases some of his approach on information Dr. Brownstein has published, and has contacted him personally to for his opinion on certain cases.
